About Us

NEW VISION is a Non Government, Non religious, apolitical and an equal rights Organization based in Pune and registered under the societies registration act of 1860 & the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950.

Formed in 2002 by professionals from various NGOS and working in positions such as social workers, HOD, supervisors, Project Management and teachers, NEW VISION came into existence.

It was initiated and founded by our founder President who has been in the development sector for many years, he had set a vision early in his career where every child should get every right set by the constitution of India.

NEW VISION is a registered, non-religious, apolitical, grassroots NGO based in Pune, working to secure the rights of children and vulnerable youth.
Since our formation in 2002, we’ve been committed to child protection, education for children, youth leadership development, and prevention of child exploitation.

We are legally registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950.

Leadership Team

Mr. Manish Shroff

Mr. Manish Shroff
Founder - New Vision

With 30+ years of hands-on experience, Mr. Shroff has been a national executive committee member of the Campaign Against Child Labour (CACL), leading transformative initiatives across India to combat child labour, support vulnerable children, and improve access to education and safety for every child. He also serves as the State Convenor for the National Action Core Group India, working under SAIVEC, a SAARC initiative focused on child protection. Beyond his fieldwork, he brings deep expertise in NGO governance, compliance, and operations, ensuring transparency and accountability in every process.

Mrs. Sunita Meshramkar

She strengthens New Vision’s programs vitally, bringing 32 years of unwavering commitment to child development. With a Masters in Social Work and a Masters in Child Development, she brings a global perspective to our local work. Her expertise ensures that every project, from empowering children to strengthening families, is grounded in best practices and has maximum impact.

Mr. Mohsim Shaikh

Project Co-ordinator - Ensuring Rights and Protection of Vulnerable Children and Strengthening Families (ERPVCSF)

A passionate advocate for children’s rights, Mohsim leads the organization’s Child Protection vertical. With a Masters in Social Work, he has honed his skills and actively serves as an Executive Committee member of the ARC network for children in Pune. Deeply committed to ensuring children are educated and protected, he collaborates with his team to enable meaningful change.

Project Lead - Family Based Alternate Care (FS-FBAC)

As the Lead for our Family Strengthening and Family-Based Alternative Care program, Mrs. Lashkare is a trusted expert in child protection. With a Master’s in Social Work, she ensures children receive swift safety and justice. Her strong connections with government systems are invaluable for providing clear direction to staff and the children we serve.

Project Co-ordinator – Family Based Alternate Care (FS-FBAC)

Holding a Master’s in Social Work, she serves as the Project Coordinator for Kolhapur & Sangli districts, supporting volunteers and case workers to enable change. Her passion and deep connection with children in CCIs and communities continue to strengthen New Vision’s field impact.

Project Co-ordinator – Opening Educational Pathways for Migrant Children (OEPMC)

Our dedicated Project Coordinator for Education Pathways for Migrant Children and Families, she holds a Master’s in Social Work. A quick learner with a passion for child welfare, she leads a team of teachers and trainers to deliver high-quality early child care and development services.

Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work, Jayshree coordinates our Empowering Youth for Leadership and Child Safeguarding program. She guides young people to develop leadership skills and works closely with field staff and youth to create lasting community change.

Accounts Head

She oversees the organization’s finances, ensuring smooth operations – from project budgets to salaries and audits. Her precision ensures that every program aligns seamlessly with its budget and financial goals.
